WAW Category Filters - Build Sheet

Updated 12 Jul 2026. One page, both projects merged: the tagged staging attributes plus the category filter plan. Supersedes the earlier version of this page and the markdown build sheets.

How to build each set (Filter Everything → Filter Sets → Add New): Post Type = Products; What to filter = Main Query; Where to filter = the category named in each section; Hide empty Filters = ON (essential - it trims each page to the attributes its products carry); Show counters = ON. Add one filter per row below, View = Checkboxes, Filter by = the product attribute shown. Price, Category and Brand stay in the existing "Any Category" global set - edit it to remove the old regulator-specific filters (Range, Inlet/Outlet Pressure, Gas Purity, Gas Type) and do not repeat them in the sets below.

Do this first: build ONE set (Metal Saws & Magnetic Drills, 4 filters, already tagged on staging) and check the category page shows the global Price/Category/Brand AND the set's technical filters together. If that renders correctly, build the rest.
